Okay, Okay........I've been a terrible correspondent. I confess. Here it is August 8, 2001, and I haven't updated the family pages since November 6 2000. I wish that I had a compelling excuse, but, alas, I do not. Simple laziness is what I am guilty of. I should teach the kids how to update, I am sure that they would be more timely than I. Well, we shall see....

Now, let's see what has transpired since November 2000... Well, we again went to Rochester, NY to visit for the Christmas holiday. I have here some great pictures of the kids in Rochester. In January 2001, we had a TON of snow, so we had fun in the backyard as you can see here. Toward the end of the month of January, we traveled to North Conway, NH for a bit of mountaineering and Ice Climbing. This time my daughter was my mountaineering partner, and she did splendidly. While we were mountaineering, My wife and son were cross country skiing at Great Glenn. They had a wonderful time as well. February found us again in Grand Cayman, and I have some new pictures here. My daughter is planning on getting certified to scuba dive before our next visit to Grand Cayman, so stay tuned! In April, we traveled to snowy northwest Canada. We wend to Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies. It turns out that we were a bit too late for any decent skiing. Fortunately we were not too late for Dog Sledding, which we did on several occasion. That was a lot of fun!

It seems inconceivable, but that brings us to the latter half of summer 2001. Both kids are at overnight camp. Both visiting days have come and gone (pictures of which can be seen here). And we have traveled to Rochester for a Memorial Service which ended up being a wonderful celebration of the life of my wife's grandmother and her love of Family and Lake Seneca! Here are some pictures from that outing. The kids will be home in two weeks or so, and then it is off to Disney for our summer vacation. And then back to school. Wow, I am almost out of breath! That about does it. As per usual, I will try to be more timely in my updates, although past history indicates the futility in that endeavor!! Nonetheless, I will try!

That's all for now......................

My Family and I are quite fond of climbing in The North Conway, NH area. We have a great time there year round. Whether you like face climbing, slab climbing, ice climbing or mountaineering, you can find it all there. Information on climbing in this area can be found at Jay Philbrick's web sight. Jay is also an awesome guide!!!

Emily Post's book on web etiquette requires me to put in a section entitled "Links" or "My Favorite Link" or something of that nature As I never cross Emily, here are some of my favorite links............
