What were you doing during the recent cold spell?
In our usual fashion, we decided to do a bit of ice climbing and mountaineering, not to mention winter camping! Here you can see Cathy at Carter Notch dressed for success as we headed out.
Here I am after enjoying a bit of soup. The hot soup was nice considering that it was only 36 degrees Farenheit inside!
I found it amazing in this picture, that Cathy could be smiling. After all, it was 15 degrees Farenheit below zeow in this sleeping hut at the time of this picture. Jay kindly contributed his breath (the steam in the picture) to help illustrate the frigid temperature.
