Zermatt gave us our first experience in climbing
at altitude. Overall I think that we did quite well!
Stopping for a drink
on The Glacier. Oddly enough there were not too many other nine
year olds?!
A quick stop to
put crampons on and up we go!
With our guide,
Andy, at the 4,000 meter summit of the Breithorn. You can barely
see the Matterhorn through the clouds over Andy's right shoulder.
Up hear it was cold, windy and bright!
A picture of both
of us - proud of our accomplishment- on the summit of the Breithorn!
Here I am at the
base of the Breithorn with Andy - it was a bit warmer there, and
a lot less windy!
At long last you
have reached the end of the line....but
you can
always go back
that way
for another peek!
